The National Indigenous Music Impact Study is the first of its kind in Canada.

The study will look at the challenges, successes and barriers that the Indigenous music community faces and estimate the contributions and impacts the Indigenous music community has on Canada. APTN and its partners are leading this project and will engage widely with those involved in the Indigenous music community, including anyone (Indigenous or non-Indigenous) who creates, promotes and supports Indigenous music in Canada.

Thank you to everyone that completed the survey.

The field portion of the project is now closed. Please check back as we will be publishing the final report here.

If you would like more information about this study, please contact Jennifer David, NVision project manager at jdavid@nvisiongroup.ca. For technical support, please email APTNsurvey@environics.ca.
