About APTN Indigenous Day Live 2022

Welcome the summer solstice and National Indigenous Peoples Day with APTN Indigenous Day Live 2022 (IDL). For the first time since 2019, this year’s event marks the return to an in-person celebration at The Forks in Winnipeg, Man., on Saturday, June 18.

Through cultural and musical performances, IDL brings Canadians together in celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ unparalleled artistic achievements. The event showcases Indigenous artists and features multidisciplinary collaborations in English, French and a variety of Indigenous languages.

New this year, IDL 2022 is being reimagined from a traditionally-hosted concert to a cultural and artistic presentation shining a light on this year’s theme, “Celebrating Our Lands.”
