Keena Hicken-Gaberria is a strategic leader and project manager extraordinaire of multicultural descent (English, French and Iroquois). Her adaptive and creative abilities are demonstrated through her impressive set of Canadian qualifications. She is a seasoned CPA (CA), PMP, CFE and ICD.D with over 25 years of extensive international business experience.

Keena is a graduate of Royal Roads University, where she completed a bachelor of Commerce and received the Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Keena applies her skills while remaining true to a strong set of values – integrity, accountability, respect, transparency and environmental stewardship. She has served in her community in the capacity of a civic member of the City of Port Moody Economic Development Committee, as a mentor for the Metro Vancouver Board of Trade’s Leaders of Tomorrow Program and as a former treasurer/vice-president of the Port Moody Arts Centre Society. Keena is currently the president of New Leaf Enterprises Inc., and the CFO of LFT Group Brands Ltd. She was the founding CEO of the Namgis Economic Development Corp., where she assisted ‘Namgis First Nation (“NFN”) in establishing their new economic development corporation. She is the Chair of the Board of Orca Sand and Gravel Ltd and a board member of the Rural Islands Economic Partnership Society.

Keena joined APTN’s Board of Directors in April 2019.
