Manager of Marketing / Management
Marketing has been a part of Corrie’s life since she was just 14 years-old. Her first job was at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, Man., where her dad taught her about event marketing. A few years later, she started studying marketing at the University of Manitoba before shifting gears and earning a Public Relations certificate from the University of Winnipeg. Corrie’s professional and educational experience allowed her to hone her diverse marketing skills, including SEO planning, digital content creation and community management.
Corrie kick-started her career in the broadcast industry in 1998 when she joined Corus Entertainment’s marketing department. While there, she applied her razor-sharp expertise to web, radio and interactive marketing.
Corrie moved to APTN in 2010 as a marketing specialist and online producer. She took over as acting manager of marketing for nearly a year before permanently settling into the position in May 2019. Her recognized expertise has helped APTN’s online reach and conversation to expand internationally.
As a proud “swim mom,” Corrie is an active volunteer for the University of Manitoba Junior Bison Swim Team and has achieved a Swim Canada Official Level II for her volunteering. Corrie also enjoys meditating, dogs and spending time with her family.
